VolunteersWe have recently formed a lively and very interesting group of volunteers from several different countries, Spain, England, France, Germany and Holland. We are working as a team under the guidance of Tom Ferber the Councillor for Tourism and Paloma López Rodríguez the Professional Officer for Tourism, contributing to the development of ‘Quality Tourism’ through our activities in the Tourist Office.
Expressing his gratitude to the volunteers the Mayor, José Luis Torres Gutiérrez, said: “…..I would like to thank you all for your contributions in the Tourist Office, making available your experience and knowledge for the benefit of others……I hope you will continue working together to make Cómpeta a point of reference in the world of tourism…..” We have also had great support from the Deputy Mayors, Adela Ruíz Martín and Carlos Gaona. The relationship between the politicians, civil servants, employees and volunteers is both complementary and mutually supportive, we are working together to develop a variety of interesting voluntary projects. We are also working with other institutions, for example, the María Zambrano Institute in Vélez Málaga, the Voluntariado Oficina Municipal in Vélez Málaga, the University of Málaga (UMA), and the Coordinador Provincial de la Agencia Andaluza de Voluntariado in Málaga, and celebrating the ‘Dia Internacional Del Voluntariado’ in December.
Tom Ferber Councillor for Tourism VoluntariosRecientemente se ha creado un dinámico grupo de voluntarios de diferentes nacionalidades: España, Inglaterra, Francia, Alemania y Holanda. Este equipo ya está trabajando, bajo la dirección de Tom Ferber (Concejal de Turismo) y Paloma López Rodríguez (Técnica de Turismo, que actualmente lleva a cabo su trabajo en la Oficina de Turismo de Cómpeta) contribuyendo con dicho trabajo al desarrollo de un "Turismo de Calidad" con sus actividades en la Oficina de Turismo.
Expresando su gratitud a los voluntarios, el Alcalde D. José Luis Torres Gutiérrez, comentaba: " ….. Me gustaría expresar mi gratitud a la Oficina de Turismo por su contribución, ofreciendo su experiencia y conocimiento en beneficio de los demás... espero que ustedes sigan trabajando juntos para hacer de Cómpeta un punto de referencia en el mundo del turismo … " También nos mostraron su apoyo de los Concejales Adela Ruíz Martín y Carlos Gaona Rojo.
La relación entre los políticos, funcionarios, empleados y voluntarios de apoyo mutuo. Trabajamos juntos para desarrollar una interesante variedad de proyectos. También trabajamos con otras instituciones, por ejemplo, el Instituto de María Zambrano en Vélez-Malaga, la Oficina Municipal del Voluntariado en Vélez-Malaga, la Universidad de Málaga (UMA) y el Coordinador Provincial de la Agencia Andaluza del Voluntariado en Málaga (el pasado mes de diciembre celebramos el 'Dia Internacional del Voluntariado'). ¿Estaría interesado en colaborar con nosotros?
